Long story short, last month Kade & I vacationed in Rexburg and Kansas. Our time in Rexburg was so short so we didn't get to see anyone but the family. From there we drove home with the family and spent a week in Garden City. When it was time for us to go we were snowed in! So we HAD to stay another week. Darn the luck. I worked on finishing 3 quilts I started a long long time ago and now they are all very close to being finished. (one of them ten years later, lame I know!) While I was in Kansas Mike was with our first visitors. Yay! I missed seeing them but they had a great time with Mike. Kade & I finally made it home and things in the Sunshine state hadn't changed much. Mike still studying away. How fun.
So last week I was here for my first visitor, my Aunt Susan. We pretty much lived on the beach while she was here. We were at the mall and it happened to be the final tryouts for the Dolphin Cheerleaders so we were entertained by their more than interesting routines for a while. She got to witness something big going down in the back yard. We pulled out the binoculars and watched three men as they were searched & arrested. Every cop in the entire town was there. At one point we counted 11. That's a good sign right? High security? Our favorite was people watching on South Beach. If you ever feel insecure or a little awkward in your bathing suit all you have to do is spend an afternoon on the beach here and you'll realize that ANYTHING goes here! No shame! Seriously! People wear next to nothing and apparently feel okay about it. Pretty sick but very entertaining to watch! Kade & I had so much fun with her and it was sad to see her go. She spoiled Kade like crazy, he loved it, followed her everywhere and kept begging for "Subie."
Now that all that hard work is over we are back to the normal ol life in the sunshine state, I live a vacation life, every day is a party and could it get much better than this? Haha, I'm laughing. That's hilarious.
We do love life here, the weather is always beautiful and we always welcome visitors! Hurricane season starts June 1st so hurry! And then after that it gets real hot and humid. This upcoming week starts finals week for Mike so he will be gone all day everyday (not like that's any different from every week). Then we get to spend 10 days of vacation with him! Hip hip hooray! We miss everyone who isn't living in Florida and hope everyday is a vacation!

Oh, I'm so jealous of you living in Florida! Although I'm sure it's not all play--there's got to be some on a regular basis, right? :) Glad you have been able to visit with so much family lately. That's the best!!
OH my goodness, Cade is getting so big!!! It looks like you guys are doing so good. You should come visit Cody and I, it would be fun:)
I can't wait til I come for my visit. I want to see at least 12 cops! I'll be calling soon to plan this whole thing out. I hear you and Coly spend lots of time together...I'm excited to butt in. Kade is quite the traveling man!

So fun!!!! I was wondering when you would change your blog. It sure has been a while. Sounds like you guys are having a blast. I am not looking forward to the business of chiropractic school either when COlby is always gone. Hmmm...maybe we will have to visit each other!

I love your picture!! Who did you get to take it and where did you do it? I tried so many times to get a good one of Josh and I on the beach and just never loved any of them.
