Random Ramblings

I'm not quite sure where to start. It's about time for an update but I really can't find the right words to describe our lives right now. Strange I know. I'll think about it and get back with you on that. A little side note on the family picture at the top... I decided that every year for our anniversary we will take a family picture so that we can see how our family is growing. Nothing fancy, just a picture with the whole family. So that picture was our attempt for 2009. Mike's time is very limited and most days doesn't get home until it's dark, so for lighting purposed our window was small. It's only right that because I'm the one who updates the blog I would pick the cutest picture of myself right? (Don't lie to yourself we all do it) Of course, except this time that didn't happen. There wasn't one picture that I looked normal in and I'm not kidding. Let's just say I don't do my hair anymore, the humidity does! I figure that's what will be so great about a yearly picture. It will tell its own story of where we are and what we are going through. Anyway, enough said about a silly picture.

The months keep squishing all together and I can't remember the days anymore, I'm losing it. So I can't remember when everything happened but a while ago Mike finished finals and is now a 2nd year! We had a week break after that and traveled to Orlando and spent a day at each water park. Then because we had time we traveled up the coast to St. Augustine, (where Ponce De Leon landed) and stayed the night. Such a great town, oldest one in the country! We visited the fountain of youth, drank their water (it was awful!) and relaxed. Secretly the real reason we went to St. Augustine was because Crystal had written in her blog last year sometime about a little pizza place she ate at and loved while she was in St. Augustine. I am in LOVE with pizza and so I really wanted to try it! We did! I stalked her blog, found the picture of the pizza shop then found the shop. I'm crazy, I know. We already established that. Thanks Crystal! Our drive home from St. Augustine was such a blast! We took the A1A which runs all along the coast. We stopped off at all sorts of places just to check them out. We hit Cocoa beach, Daytona beach, Melbourne and many others. We'd see a park and stop to let Kade run and play. Before we move away we want to see Florida and all its beauty! We LOVE road trips so we're slowly working on it one town at a time. I think just after this trip was when my life turned into one giant blur. So I guess that's it for now
We're thinking of trading our car in for this. What do you think?
I think Mike looks younger already!
Forget having older siblings who are a bad example..it's me, the Mom!

I kept telling Mike to pet the Ostrich. He said No. haha! I wouldn't either, it brings back memories of the ostrich pecking at the stitches on my forehead. Isn't that hilarious!
Stopping off at another beach
Mike pretending there is something cool going on the other way so I would look and not take a picture of him. It didn't work, just gave me a more exciting picture of him!
Yay for road tripping!
random but one of my favorites
Kade Loves Bananas so much that he wanted the whole thing at once!
